I have a comfortable room to let. Suitable for single or couple occupation. This a comfortable modern family home. The property is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. The street is safe, well lit, family orientated and very quiet with no through traffic.
There’s a well stocked ASDA Supermarket / fuel / cash point just 3 minutes away open to 22.30hr Also, a friendly free-house pub a few metres from ASDA. They do a decent Sunday roast for £7
In the opposite direction is Rainham is the town centre, train station & taxi.
We boast the High Speed Bullet train to Kings Cross St Pancras stopping at Ebbsfleet International (Eurostar) & a regular service to Victoria Station & coach terminal. All this just 5 minutes walk in a straight line.
For a small town Rainham has all you’d expect, and more. Including an excellent health centre with access to doctors on the day you call!
6 restaurants with various ethnic menus, 4 pubs, 2 late open chippie, 1 kebab, 1 chicken, a domino’s and even a weekly Friday night club open until 1am with free entry.
Many owners/landlords offer terrible beds/mattress that will break your back, ancient, sweaty, smelly things or with luck a new but cheap bed.
I started with an empty room, no furniture, no light switches, no lighting, no curtain pole, curtains, bed, mattress, wardrobes, bedding, pillows or duvet. Absolutely everything is new. The queen size mattress on offer is a modern Pocket Sprung Mattress of high quality for a comfortable sleep. It was not cheap neither was the bedding, pillows or duvet or anything else.
The room has a black, full length 2m Ikea Pax wardrobe with black sliding glass doors. It has a mix of large sliding draws, shelves, hanging space & sliding jeans rail and shoe bar. Easily enough for 2.
For more storage, grab the handle on the mattress frame and pull upwards. The 2 hydraulic lifters help lift and hold frame & mattress as one unit. Giving access to a massive 2.4sqm of extra storage. Just close the lid and you’re done. (pic)
For a special car not used daily or other items of value, perhaps quality furniture needing dry storage in a CCTV & alarmed area, short term, secure space might be available.
However this is not my property but a friend with outdoor space for leisure vehicles like mobile homes & caravans. With luck an indoor space is possible. I’m happy to ask.
