Hi, my name is Christian, I am a graduate of 2 years and my interest is in foreign languages, teaching English and ancient and modern history. I have a spare room available at my property in Whatley Road, Clifton, just off Whiteladies, fully furnished, with Internet access and a 2 minute walk from the Sainsbury's shopping mall, the health centre and the Clifton railway station.

The room contains a double bed, with a large wardrobe, a set of drawers, a large retractable window, a desk and a radiator. The flat also features a very spacious lounge, a bathroom and kitchen, which includes a fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are also good views overlooking the local vicinity. The monthly rent is £360, plus bills, which usually work out at £170, so around £530 in total per month (equivalent to £115 per week). For the Clifton area this is actually good value for money and should be affordable for most people, even those on minimum wage who work 9-5, 5 days a week.

As for myself, I work as a recruitment consultant and have been doing so for more than five months, near College Green at the bottom of Park Street, towards the city centre. This is convenient for me, as it's less than a 20 minute walk from my flat. I plan to stay here for the immediate future, but need to find someone to fill the spare room which has been available for the past couple of weeks since my flatmate found a job elsewhere in Buckinghamshire. I am willing to consider all applicants, but would like to share with someone who has similar interests, who does not smoke and who is considerate of my wishes, as I would be to them.

My ambition is to study the subject of TEFL this year and move abroad to teach English to foreign speakers, but I also plan to travel around Europe as a tour guide, to use my knowledge of European history and put my interest in foreign languages (Spanish, German, Hungarian) to good use. I also like to exercise (though I haven't had much time for that lately! ), socialising, and learning about Buddhist philosophy.
