Gemma is looking for a Double room in Balham, Greater London

Looking for a Double room for around £600 per month
available all week immediately for 6 months

Hi,
My name is Gemma but most people call me Gem. I'm going to be turning 25 in a few weeks.

I am looking for a room mainly in either the Balham or Clapham areas. I am originally from Worcester and have been living in Balham for the past year.

I think my friends would probably describe me as a bubbly, organised, smiley and generous person.

I would ideally like to move in with people that not only want someone to share a house but someone to become a friend as well. Although I do know a lot of people in London so will not be totally reliant on housemates for company- so don’t panic I won’t be clingy lol. I would totally expect everyone to have their own lives whilst enjoying the occasional company of their fellow housemates :)

A little about me:
I’m known as Shorty standing at a colossal 5ft 2 and ½--- the half is important!

I work in commercial property management near St. Paul's which can be stressful but I like the challenge. most days!

I’m a really tidy person so would need to live with people who are respectful of communal areas- bedrooms are fair game really, but a dirty bathroom and kitchen are a definite no, no lol.

I'm trying to drag myself to the gym about 3 times a week and usually after work, sometimes head to Clapham Common for a jog, well jog/ walk- at least I'm honest!

I have a degree in Film and Media and therefore really enjoy the theatre and cinema as well as I’m afraid to admit… musicals!
I like comedy clubs, eating out, trips to the pub- especially if there’s a pub quiz on and live sporting events but mainly Rugby Union and have been to Twickers quite a few times since living in London. I love shopping and really enjoy cooking.

I absolutely enjoy a good night out on the town but tend to keep it to the weekend as I no longer seem to be able to hack the hangover at work- or at least very often! ;)

I would say I’m a friendly person, easy to get along with.
I love animals and have a dog, 4 cats and 2 fish. I also have 3 younger brothers so I’m good with time management of showers lol.

I'm looking to move on 3rd September, I can be somewhat flexible on this but my current housemates will have someone moving in on 4th September so 3rd would be best.

Area's I'm looking in are, Balham, Clapham and parts of Brixton.

Budget, including bills is £600

I'm ideally looking for a double room- storage space would be ideal as I have quite a lot of clothes or crap as my mum refers to it lol.
I actually have a double bed, dressing table and chest of draws with me so an unfurnished room would be brilliant but it's not essential as I can get my folks to pick them up.
