Double room available in centrally located 4 bedroom house. Our house is a well-maintained terraced house, 5 minute walking distance to Reading town centre. The room is available now as the current roommate is relocating for work and it is near impossible for him to commute.
We have no preference on the gender of the incoming housemate although we are looking for a professional with steady employment. You will be joining the current housemates, all friendly and laid back (but responsible) professional Australian, Irish and Polish females in their 20’s to early 30’s. We are looking for a clean, considerate housemate who will want to make this house their home. It is a wonderful house with good neighbours and a very flexible, attentive landlady.
Rent is £288.50 a month including Virgin TV and Internet. Bills are not included, but are on average £60 a month (Council Tax, electricity, gas and water) making this room fantastic value for Town centre accomodation. Permit parking is available, with some non-permit parking also available up the street. It has easy access to Kennet Canal walking trail, is a short distance to the motorway, and close proximity to the Oracle groceries and shopping. The house is also walking distance to Reading University.
The house is fully furnished, including washing machine, dryer and private back garden. One full bathroom includes bath tub and power shower. There is a second bathroom upstairs with a toilet and wash basin. The layout of the house, and arrangement of the bedrooms, creates more privacy than what you would expect in a terraced house.
