Double room available in a great semi-detached house in Putney in early October. The room is furnished and has loads of storage and has been recently refurbished.
The kitchen and living areas are separate which is fab for entertaining as the kitchen has a built in table that seats four people, and there is also a dining table in the living room. The kitchen is really well equipped and has a five burner hob and a double oven. The bathroom is of a high standard. There is storage under the stairs and a linen cupboard, and a shed in the back lawn. If you drive you'll always find a park outside and you don't need a parking permit.
Separate utility room with American style big fridge/freezer with ice maker, washing machine and dish washer.
The back lawn is great for bbq's, parties, or just generally catching some sun. The outdoor furniture and umbrella comes with the house.
I am a 33yr old professional who works in the city looking for like-minded people to share this great house with. It's not just a house, it's a home!
There are shops a 5min walk away and supermarkets about a 10min walk or a short bus ride away.
The nearest overland is Barnes (which means you get a seat on the way into work! ) which is a 10min walk away. The 430 stop is a block from the house, the 337 stop is three blocks away and the 72 is also only a few blocks away.
To walk to Putney high street is about 15-20mins which will get you to Putney Overland, or another block or so down to East Putney.
Richmond Park, Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common are just around the corner if you enjoy your running, picnics etc.
Bills are about A100 a month for council tax, water, TV licence, Sky (TV/internet/free international phone calls), cleaner, gas and electricity.
The landlords are very accomodating and relaxed.
