GARTH HEADS STUDENT ACCOMODATION, NEWCASTLE

LOCATION
Garth Heads is located a short 10 minute walk to Newcastle City Centre, 10 minutes from Northumbira University and Newcastle University, and 20 minutes from Newcastle College. It is situated above the Quayside, with two super markets, cash machines, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. You couldn't ask for a better situated halls in Newcastle, as everything really is a wlak away.

ROOM
The flat is number 16, situated in the main building on the second floor. The room has a 3/4 size bed which needs a double duvet, as well as a desk, wardrobe, chest f drawers and shelves, providing plenty of storage space. The room also has a sink and mirror inside, as the bathrooms facilities (2 showers, 2 toilets) are shared between 7. The room has a large window which provies plenty of light as well.

FLAT AND FLATMATES
The flat is shared between 7 students. There are currently 2 boys and 4 girls living in the flat, so any gender would be welcome to move in. We share a communal living and kitchen area. The living area has enough seating for 7 in the form of two lrage leather sofas and one arm chair. These also allow space for friends to sleep over. There is also a plasma tv which recieves freeview. In the kitchen there is enough room for everyone to have a fridge shelf, a draw in the freezer, a draw and 2 cupboards each. This provides plenty of space to store all food and cooking equipment. There is 1 cooker between 7, however, as everyone cooks at seperate times, space is never an issue. There is also a microwave, toaster and kettle to share.

The flatmates are all very kind and considerate of one another, and a general policy of washing your own things has come into play.

FACILITIES
The window of this room overlooks the commual courtyard, which is a great socialising space. There is a smoking shelter, laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers (£2.20 for white wash, £2 for colours and £1 for a tumble dry). As previously mentioned, the flat recieves freeview TV, and each room is provided with a cable to connect to the internet.

RENT
Rent is payed termly in an installment of £1, 580. The next installment will be due on the 2nd of April, however payments will be required once you move on depending on how long of the term is left. Any other costs can be settled at a later time, such as the internet connection fee which was paid for at the start of the year.

PARKING
A parking space can be aquired and paid for termly. However, parking spaces can be aquired on a nightly basis from reception, which is open 9am until 5pm.
