I have a double room to rent in a lovely, friendly, 2 bed house in Lemington. The house has just been renovated, is in immaculate condition and the rent includes all bills except telephone calls (although landline calls are free). There is also ample free parking in the quiet street outside.

It's perfect for commuters – Newcastle City Centre and the Metro Centre are 10 minutes away (there is a service into Newcastle via the Business Park every 10 minutes) with links all over the city and beyond. Asda supermarket, as well as the local high street, is only a few minutes’ walk away. There are several takeaways just down the road, as well as a corner shop.

For those who like to keep active there is a gym a few streets away as well as a large leisure centre nearby, which is situated in a riverside country park. The Keelman’s Way cycle path runs close to the house too. For those of you who don’t like to keep active the house is also close to the award-winning Big Lamp Brewery, which brews its own local beer!

The house has all the normal mod cons - washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge freezer, flat screen tv, wifi etc. The furnishings are brand new. A cleaner is also included in the price!

You would be sharing with a young professional girl. She is lovely and very sociable but equally likes to have her own space so you would have some time to yourself!
