I have a single furnished room to let in a nice little flat in Hebburn. I have had lodgers in the past, mainly friends, but they have all moved on and I am finding it a bit dull living on my own, and it would be nice to have help with the bills. I am 29, single, and work full time. The flat is in an excellent location and very central, a ten minute walk to the nearest metro station and from there about 15 minutes either way, either into the centre of Newcastle or South Shields and shops and bus routes are only minutes away. The flat is very clean and offers all amenities including washing machine, double glazing, shower, gas central heating, TV with DVD player etc. , and is fully alarmed. I am happy to pay the council tax and the water rates on behalf of the lodger but the gas and electric would be extra and in the past have worked out at approximately A5 a week for each.
