I own a 3 bed, terraced house that has local shops, restaurants and a very good bus link right outside the front door.

I occupy one of the double rooms, the other double is the one up for rent and the nice sized single room is currently used my myself and my current lodger for things like washing, ironing, hair and makeup etc.

One thing you do need to know about my house is that I own a dog. She is a 4 year old black lab, very friendly. I don’t expect any lodgers to have any responsibility over my dog but I would not welcome someone who wouldn’t give her a bit of fuss as they came in the front door.

I have recently decorated the room that is up for rent, the bathroom, lounge and the kitchen is underway as we speak so the house is starting to look half decent (it was awful when I moved in a year ago). The room that is up for rent has a king sized bed, wardrobe and shelving unit, it is painted cream and has a cream carpet. All furniture can be taken out if you would rather fetch your own.

I have had several lodgers now, some who have just used the room as a base to sleep and work from and some that I have shared a bottle of wine with on an evening. Both types of lodgers are good with me.
