We are two friends living in a 3 bedroom terrace in Kingsdown. As our current housemate will be moving out soon, we're looking for a professional who would be able to move in by mid-March. The latest move in date is 24 March 2012. The house is centrally located, close to Stokescroft, the city centre, bus station and the university campus. There's also the Hillgrove pub just off Dove St which is obviously a perk! Although centrally located, the neighbourhood is generally quiet and peaceful with the odd cry from the Dove St fox.

The house and rooms come fully furnished, complete with a dishwasher and washing machine. It comes with a spacious kitchen and living room, split level back garden, car porch, garage and bike storage space. The room that is up for rent is a big double room and has a balcony. Rent will be £370, not including council tax and bills. It will be signed on a 6 month contract. There is however a £485 deposit, which you'll get returned after the lease is up.

So a bit about us. We are in our mid-twenties, sociable and fun (we like to think so). I'm currently a PhD student and my friend is a professional. While we're not anal retentive, we would definitely appreciate a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the common areas. As we're both quite busy over the week the house is pretty quiet. That said, we do like having fun over the weekends that generally involve either a film night in or a typical night out. We're both mad about food so the house usually smells pretty good and Sunday dinner has become something of a tradition.
