Hi guys, I currently have the head lease of a 2 bedroom apartment on East Side of Battersea Park, directly across the road from the park. The flat is lower ground in a Victorian style building on Queenstown Rd. It’s great having Battersea Park literally at your door to go for walks, run and use the facilities of the park (tennis, running track and gym). The double room I'm renting out is £180 per week. It is partly furnished with storage. Utility bills and council tax are not included, but are minor compared to London average because of being in Wandsworth council, the lowest in London I believe. (£30 per month each for tax for eg. ) The house has a nice open plan kitchen and living area, which is fully furnished, including a great new sofa. The kitchen also is modern with electric oven, gas hob and cooker hood and a dishwasher. There is a modern bathroom with separate bath and a large shower. The bathroom would be shared. The lease runs out end of March 2012 and you would have the opportunity to take it over and get someone else in or have the 5 months only. I'm male, originally from Australian and have been living here for 2 years with my dog Zeko. We have an outdoor space, and he has an access door to enter the house, so he's part of the family and a very friendly and happy dog that loves company. I'm an active person, run a lot, go to gym and love to cook and have quiet time at home also. Like the occasional sharing of a meal and a drink with my flat mate.
