Double Bedroom - £360 per month

Hi I'm Andy and I have a room available for rent in my house on Lombardy Drive in north Peterborough. The room is 3.2m x 3.9m and easily fits a double bed, wardrobe, bedside table and computer table, all of which are provided.

Downstairs there is a large kitchen, lounge, hall and downstairs toilet. Upstairs there is the room for rent, a bathroom with bath and electric shower, a spare room (not available for use), an airing cupboard and my room. There is also a loft that can be used to store a small amount.

There is a fair sized garden at the rear of the house accessible from the kitchen. There is space for two medium sized cars at the front of the house.

I have a basic Virgin Media TV package (pretty much the same as freeview) and 8Mb wireless broadband internet. I also have a landline phone.

The kitchen has a washing machine, microwave, fair sized fridge, large freezer, electric oven and electric hob.

The house also has a pretty new five point alarm system which is really easy to use.

I prefer to include share of payment of bills in the rent which will be an extra £115pcm. This includes council tax, gas, electric, water, phone/internet, tv licence and a few toiletries/washing liquids etc. This brings the total rent to £360pcm.

I'm a fairly quiet person and I'd prefer a house mate that is also quiet. That said, I get on with most people and enjoy company when watching tv/movies or playing xbox. I'm not a massive sports fan. I like motorsport, one of my favourite shows is Top Gear. I like to cook fairly quick and simple meals during the week and I try not to eat too much fast food (apart from on the weekend when I can't be bothered to cook :P ). I don't smoke and although this ad appears to say I'm not bothered, I'd prefer a housemate who doesn't smoke.

The house is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Peterborough town centre. It is also a similar distance from the Perkins Engines site where I work. My driving route to work rarely sees much traffic which makes the house ideal if you work or are planning to start work at Perkins.
